Locate rafters directly over studs and flush to overhang in wall frame
(Fig. A)

Check that you have the measurements shown.
Screw through soffit panel into rafters with (1) 2" screw
(Fig. A)
.
Repeat steps to install (3) additional rafters.
Secure with (2) 3" screws at each end
(Fig. B)
. Re-tighten 2" screws if neccessary.
Your rafters are now installed.
