Program the instrument for a new gas as follows:
1. From the
Calibration Screen
, use the PREV GAS or NEXT GAS options to scroll through the list of
available choices until the CUSTOM option is displayed.

2. Select the CUS TOM option. Press ENTER to accept the new entry or ESC to revert to the
previous setting.
3. Enter the new CAL Factor as received from Bacharach.
4.8. Zone Hold Mode
A zone can be placed on hold and continuously monitored for a length of time determined by the Zone Hold
Time value. To place a zone on hold, select the zone at the main run screen, then press and hold down the
ENTE R key until the unit beeps. The word “HOLDING” will appear in the status box.
While in the hold mode, further investigation of the zone’s status can be made by navigating to that
Zone’s
Setup Screen

. To release the zone from the hold mode, press and hold down the ENTER key until the
unit beeps and the screen display returns to normal.
