ibuprofen, acetaminophen), tetracyclines, phenothiazines,
thiazide, diuretics, sulfonylureas, sulphonamides, ETIC, fluorouracil,
vinblastine, griseofulvin, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta-
Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), Retin-A®, Accutane® (isotretinoin, in the
event of treatment during the last 6 months) or topical retinoids (or
azelaic acid).
• Abnormal skin condition caused by diabetes or similar or by other
systemic or metabolic diseases.
• History of herpes flare-ups in the area to be treated, unless a doctor
has been consulted and preventive treatment received.
• Epilepsy.
• An active implant such as a pacemaker, a urinary incontinence
implant, an insulin pump, etc.
• A recent vaccination.
• History of skin cancer or areas prone to dermal malignancies.
• Radiotherapy, chemotherapy or steroid-based treatment in the last
3 months.
• Any other light-based dermatological treatment (laser, etc.).
• Any other situation your doctor may determine as hazardous for
the treatment.
