SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Always follow these safety cautions when using this appliance to avoid personal injury or damage
to the appliance . This appliance should be used only as described within this instruction book .
CAUTION:
The polyethylene bags around the appliance or the packaging can be
dangerous . To avoid any risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of the reach of babies
and children . These bags are not toys .
• Use this appliance according to the instructions in this manual only.
• Do not immerse the motor housing in water or any other liquid.
• Always place the motor housing on a clean, dry, level and stable surface.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning . Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is plugged in . To
unplug, pull on the plug and never on the lead .
• Never place the appliance on or near a heat source.
• Never let the lead hang over the edge of the work surface, and never let it come in contact with
hot surfaces .
• Never operate the appliance when it is empty.
• Never move the appliance when it is running.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is running.
• Never handle the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or if it appears damaged.
• To avoid overloading the electrical network, make sure you do not plug other high-power-
consumption appliances into the same circuit .
• Stop using the machine immediately if the cord is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard .
• The user should not attempt to repair the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved . Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are aged from 8 years and above and supervised . Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children aged less than 8 years .
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved .
