For best results, install your safety lock

upwards.
Alternatively, you can install your safety lock horizontally, with the hook
facing on its side.

Flick the hook upwards to
activate
the lock mechanism.
Flick the hook downwards to
deactivate
the lock mechanism.
When the hook is set to close your cupboards will function as normal.
