Securing the Child with the Adult Belt (Group3)
Place the car seat against the backrest of the vehicle seat. With your child
sitting upright and back in the seat, extract the adult seat belt and pass it
across the front of the child.
Pass the lap section of the adult belt over the child’ s lap and under the arm-
rest on both sides of the seat. Ensure the lap belt is low down on the child’s
lap and firmly engaging with the pelvis.
Connect the adult belt connector tongue to the seat belt buckle (B-1).
Locate the upper portion of the diagonal section of the adult belt into the
diagonal (B-2).

1_ Vehicle belt must stay under both armrests. (B-2)
2. Feed the diagonal sestion of the vehicle belt through the upper belt guide
on the opposite side to the buckle.
