Start/Stop buttons
: Use this button on the bottom left of the
screen to start and stop the machine instead of the foot pedal.
When the
Start/Stop
button is pressed, the machine will start,
even if the foot controller is not pressed, and the symbol on the
button will change from the play arrow to a double line pause
icon. The button color will change to gold. When the button is
pressed again, the machine will stop and the pause icon with a
gray background color will turn into the play icon with a gold
background. The foot pedal does not need to be pressed in this
application.
When the machine foot controller is pressed, the button color
and icon show that the machine is running by changing the
button to the pause icon and blue background. When the foot
pedal is released, this button will return to the gold button with
the play icon.
Needle-stop button
: Touch the button to alternate between
having the needle stop in the up or down position. When the
stop/start button is selected to stop stitching, the needle-stop
position is gold.
This button does not move the needle but rather indicates your
preference for the final needle position when quilting is stopped.
Reset-bobbin button
: Press this button after a bobbin change
when using the low-bobbin alarm. This will reset the low-bobbin
reading to indicate a full bobbin is being used. The number
indicates an estimate of how much thread remains on the bobbin.
This number updates while quilting. As the number approaches
zero, this indicates the bobbin is running out of thread. For more
information about the low-bobbin settings, see
"To add a new
bobbin configuration"
and "
Record bobbin capacity"
in the
Toolbar Options
section of this manual.
Â
IMPORTANT
: Touch this button only to reset the bobbin
capacity to indicate a full bobbin. To open the Low Bobbin
Alarm screen, select the
Machine Settings
toolbar button
and then select the
Low Bobbin Alarm
screen.
