INSTALL FORWARD-FACING WITH LATCH
Make sure the cup holder is installed before installing the seat in
your car. See the “Features” section on page 20 to install the cup
holder.
Review your vehicle’s owner manual for LATCH location and use.
Do not install by this method for a child weighing more than 40 lb
(18 kg)
1. Rotate the recline foot on the bottom of the car seat into the
forward-facing position marked with a orange label. The recline
foot is secure when it “clicks” into place.
2. Expand the recline foot. The recline foot has 3 recline positions.
Squeeze the recline lever and lift the base to extend the foot.
Squeeze the recline lever and lower the base to retract the foot.
• For children 40-65 lb (18-30 kg),

NOTE:
The level indicator is used only in rear-facing mode.
