Locate the seat pad and
place it upside down on
a firm surface.
B
Unbuckle the straps on
each side of the seat
pad.
C
Unfasten the hook-and-
loop strap and fold back
the two fabric flaps.
D
Hold the seat pad above
the seat frame. Turn the
seat pad so that opening
for the vibration unit is
at the front of the frame
(footrest).
E
Open the pocket at the
top edge of the seat pad
and slide it over the
backrest frame.
F
Lift up the two fabric
flaps (shown below).
Slide the two flaps over
and under the footrest
wire.
G
Gently tilt the bouncer
backward until the
backrest contacts the floor.
H
Fasten (buckle) the straps
together on each side,
securing the seat pad to the

Install the batteries in the vibration unit.
The vibration unit requires (3) size C (1.5V) batteries (not
included). Please use alkaline batteries for better
performance.
CAUTION:
Follow the battery guidelines in this section.
Otherwise, battery life may be shortened or the
batteries may leak or rupture.
• Always keep batteries away from children. • Do not mix
old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline, standard or
rechargeable batteries. • Only batteries of the same or
equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Install
the batteries so that the polarity of each one matches the
markings in the battery compartment. • Do not short-circuit
the batteries. • Do not store batteries in areas that have
extreme temperatures (such as attics, garages, or automo-
biles). • Remove exhausted batteries from the battery
compartment. • Never attempt to recharge a battery unless
it is specifically marked “rechargeable.” • Rechargeable
batteries are to be removed from the toy before being
charged. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged
under adult supervision. • Do not use rechargeable alkaline
batteries in a Ni-Cad or Ni-MH battery charger.
A
Use a Phillips screwdriver to
loosen the screw that secures
the battery compartment
cover. A retentive washer
keeps the screw from falling
off the cover.
B
Temporarily remove the
cover by disengaging the
2 tabs at the side opposite the
screw.
C
Install the batteries...
•
(If you are replacing
batteries, remove the old
ones first.)
•
Install (3) size C (1.5 V)
batteries, observing the polarity markings embossed
on the bottom of the compartment.
•
Install each battery by first tilting it so that the
negative (–) end goes in first, pushing slightly against
the coil spring contact. The positive (+) end of each
battery goes in last.
D
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw. Do not
overtighten.
