By moving the thumb and forefinger closer or further apart on the Y ordinate axis (amplitude), it’s possible to

zoom in and out between the defined limits

On a computer or if a mouse is connected to the device, use the mouse wheel to perform this
function, positioning the cursor on the desired axis.
