5. Use
5.1. Entering and leaving from the
side
•
Move the wheelchair as close as possible to the present or future
seat so they are side by side.
•
If you wish to move from another wheelchair or room chair, lock it
by setting the parking brakes.
•
Secure the Pyro Next against rolling away accidentally by activating
the parking brake.
•
Pivot the armrest backwards and away.
•
Fold the foot plates to the side or swivel the leg rests to the side
•
Now slide sideways onto the other seat.
•
Make sure that you are sitting as far back in the seat as possible.
•
Finally, return the leg rest to their original position and reinsert the
side parts if necessary.
5.2. Entering and leaving from the
front
•
Swivel the foot plates upwards or swivel the leg rests to the side
.
•
Move the Pyro Next as close as possible to the current or intended
seat so that it is facing the seat and apply the brakes on the Pyro
Next.
•
If you want to switch from another wheelchair or indoor frame,
secure it by activating the locking brakes.
•
Now slide onto the seat by turning your body.
•
Finally, return the leg rests to their original position.
