Setting the legrest length
The foot plates are infinitely adjustable to the length of the lower legs.
•
Remove the two Allen socket screws (4 mm) from the leg rest tube
(inside and outside), and adjust it to the desired length (Fig. 17).
•
Retighten the screws after the adjustment.
4.3. Side panels and armrest
The side panels, which can be swivelled to the back, are also equipped
with armrests, which can be fitted in the following three positions:
short, standard and long.
Pivoting the side parts away
•
Activate the lever and pivot both side parts backwards and away at
the same time (Fig. 11).
•
To lock the side part, push it forwards and allow it to click into
place with light pressure on the armrest

•
Loosen the fixing screws (Allen screw 4 mm) on the bottom (Fig.
12).
•
Position the armrest in short, standard or long and tighten the
screws again.

4.2. Leg rests
The Pyro Next is equipped with leg rests that can be swivelled to the
side and removed without tools.
The footplates can be folded upwards and to the side, positioned at
an angle and adjusted to length of the user‘s lower leg.
Attaching legrests
•
Hold the legrests on the upper part, such that this part points
outwards.
•
Now push the leg rest with the guide profile into the hole in the
frame (Fig. 7).
•
Swing the leg rests forwards again until you clearly hear them click
into place.
Swinging away and removing the leg rests
To make it as easy as possible to get into and out of your folding
wheelchair, you can simply swing the leg rests away, either.
Fold the foot plates up.
•
Pull the stop up and fold the leg rest out (Fig. 08).
•
In the outer position, the leg rest can be pulled upwards (Fig. 09).
To return to the original position, simply engage the leg rests and pivot
them forward until they lock into place.
Before moving off, check for firm attachment of
the legrests!

When standing up/sitting down on your
wheelchair, please avoid standing on the footrest,
danger of falling or tipping!
