use the wheelchair in push mode. To engage the drives pull the
lever down, it will then click into place automatically. Repeat the
procedure on the other side here too.

If the drives are disconnected, then the battery status display
flashes if the wheelchair is switched on.
Please note that push mode by disconnecting the
electromagnetic brakes must only be used on
flat ground. The electromechanical brake is then
disabled. Non-observance means danger to life.
Warning! Always use both drives at the same
position (risk of accident).

4.12. legrests
In order to make it as easy as possible to get on and off, you can flip
the footplates upwards or swing the legrests out or remove them by
lifting them upwards.
•
To swing the legrest out, release the catch (Fig. 45).
•
In the “out position” the legrest can be completely removed.
•
With electronically-adjustable legrests, you must first disconnect the
connecting cable under the seat.
•
To fit the legrests, repeat the procedure in reverse order.
•
Swing the legrest back to the front until you hear it clearly click into
place.
4.13. Lifting and holding points
To load the electric wheelchair you should ideally use ramps due to
the weight. If you still need to lift the wheelchair, grip it by firmly-fixed
frame parts or the hold points. Do not hold it by the casing, electronic
parts and other attachments. For transportation you can secure the
electric wheelchair using the two eyelets (Fig. 46/47). The wheelchair
must not be used as a vehicle seat (see Chapter 2.2).
