3. Check the node physically:

•

Are there at least 2 nodes toward the gateway that you can see from the location of the trouble

node? Can you move the node slightly to have it better line up with both of the other nodes?

Nodes can also be added as repeaters. Since all nodes act as repeaters, just set one down and

turn it on.

•

Is this node at the same height as others in the vicinity? The farther from ground the node can be

mounted, the more the RF signal has a place to expand.

•

On industrial nodes, is the antenna parallel to other nodes in the vicinity? You may want to rotate

the antenna if there is a vertical distance between this node and its neighbors.
