OPERATION

1. Before use
• 

Remove any packing material and loose parts from unit.

• 

Check the accessories before use. They should fi t with the machine and your 

purpose

2. Functions

Guard function
• 

Check guard for proper closing before each use. Do not operate the saw if 

guard does not move freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie the guard 

into the open position.

WARNING: If saw is accidentally dropped, guard may be bent. Make sure the guard 

moves freely and does not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and 

depths of cut.
• 

Check the operation of the guard spring. If the guard and the spring are not 

operating properly, they must be serviced before use.

• 

Always observe that the guard is covering the blade before placing saw dwon 

on bench or fl oor.
