Precautions

Backup your settings

It is advised to backup the settings before upgrading the card. To do
this, select the frame and card you want to upgrade. Then choose
“Card” in the menu and select “Backup card”. An exact copy of the
card’s menu can be stored as .xml file in the following window. The
next image displays the window where this is done.

At your own risk

During the upgrade process, the card will stop functioning for a
period of time. Make sure the card you are going to upgrade is
currently

not

being used by anyone in your company.

Note

Use cortex version 1.09.01 or later. This software
can be downloaded from our website. www.axon.tv
