If you switch between your aircraft’s left and right seats, you can switch the position of the mic to the
other side of the headset simply by bending the fully flexible part of the frame as shown below:

The headband is made from a springy metal, but it can be slightly re-shaped if you prefer more or less
clamping pressure on your head.
