How to reset the Z-Wave network
Important
• This procedure removes all Z-Wave devices from the product.
• Use this procedure only when the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
1. Go to
Setup > Wireless I/O
.
2. Click
Reset
.
3. Click
OK
to confirm the reset.
All added Z-Wave devices are now removed from the product, and the
Z-Wave Device List
is empty.
How to make the camera's LED flash when the Z-Wave device's battery is low
1. Go to
Setup > Events > Action Rules
and click
Add
.
2. Select
Enable rule
and enter a descriptive name for the rule.
3. Under
Trigger
, select
Input Signal
.
4. Select
Z-Wave
.
5. Select
<device name> - Battery
.
6. Under
Actions
, select
Status LED
.
7. Select
Flash for 1 seconds
and change the time to 9999 seconds.
8. Select
LED Color
.
9. Click OK.
How to direct the camera to a preset position when the wireless PIR motion sensor
detects motion
Note
There may up to 2 s delay from when the motion is detected to when the camera triggers the action rule. Consider this
latency when deciding the best placement of the products.
Add a preset position:
1. Go to
PTZ
and set where you want the camera to be directed by creating a preset position.
Create an action rule for the PIR sensor:

Setup > Events > Action Rules
and click
Add
.
3. Select
Enable rule
and enter a descriptive name for the rule.
4. Under
Trigger

Input Signal
.
5. Select
Z-Wave
.
6. Select
