The config.ini file has to be edited to set the SCSI parameter 
SCSITermination to off. 

1. In Windows, double-click the config.ini file to edit it using 

the notepad editor. In UNIX, use your favourite editor.

2. Locate the line SCSITermination and change the parameter 

value to off. See the example below:

3. Save the file.

4. To activate the new settings, power the Axis CD-ROM server 

off and then on again. The indicators will flash during power-on 
and self-test. When the STATUS indicator stops flashing and 
remains unlit, the new setting is ready for use.

Changing the SMB

server name

The config.ini file has to be edited to set the SMB parameter 
ServerName to the desired name. 

1. In Windows, double-click the config.ini file to edit it using 

the notepad editor. In UNIX, use your favourite editor.

2. Locate the line ServerName and change the parameter value.
