Section 4: Using the Axis CD-ROM Server

AXIS 850/950 User’s Manual

3. In the top listing, double-click the entry for your new CD-

ROM server. The default name is

AXIS<nnnnnn>

, where

are the six last digits of the CD-ROM server serial

number.

4. From the bottom listing, select one of the CD-ROM server

resources:

•

For root level access, select the

root

folder.

•

For cd drive access, select the

folder.

•

For CD-ROM access, select the CD-ROM you want to
access.

5. Select a drive letter for your CD-ROM server.

6. Check Reconnect at Startup if you wish to use the CD-ROM

server under the same drive letter the next time you start you
computer.

7. Click the OK button. The CD-ROM server is ready for use.
