AMI BIOS Setup Utility



SATA Configuration

In the SATA Configuration menu, you can see the currently installed hardware in the SATA
ports. During system boot up, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices.

SATA Mode Selection

Use this item to choose the SATA operation mode. Here are the options for your
selection: IDE Mode and AHCI Mode.

SATA Controller Speed

Use this item to choose the SATA speed. Here are the options for your selection: Auto
Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3.
