Installation under Windows
OpenJDK
and
IcedTeaWeb
are free alternatives to Java. They establish communication
between the administration /configuration computer and Axema VAKA.
1.
(https://java.com/remove) if it is installed on the computer.
2. Download and run

openjdk-1.8.0.242-1.b08.ojdkbuild.windows.x86_64.msi) Please note that the download
can take a while. The software is distributed under a general GNU license v2.0 from
https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild
3. Click
Next
4. Select
I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
5. Expand
OpenJDK Runtime. (+)
6. Click the drop-down by
JAVA HOME Variable and select Entire feature will be installed on
local hard drive.
7. Click the drop-down by
Web Start and select Entire feature will be installed on local hard
drive.
8. Click the drop-down by
Update notifier and select Entire feature will be installed on local
hard drive.
9. Click
Next
10. Click
Install.
11. Select Yes in the appearing dialog.
12. Click
Finish.

name contains Swedish characters such as åäö.
14. Click
Run.

Proceed.
