Ethernet connector specification (X504, X505)
The MSC Q7-MB-EP6 Board offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports. They can be connected to a
local area network via a 10/100/1000 Base-T interface. The 1000Base-T transformer is
assembled on the connector on the baseboard.
Connector X504 is connected to the Qseven
TM
CPU module, whereas a PCIe to Ethernet
device (Intel® i210) is used on the base board to generate the 2
nd
Ethernet port on the X505
connector.
The system supports wake up from the sleep S3 (Suspend to RAM) state by sending the
magic packet over Ethernet.
Note: The 2
nd
Ethernet port on the X505 connector is only supported when J1305 is installed.
