Mode Select Switches
Positions 9 and 10 of the DIP switch are used for card mode selection.
There are four possible switch combinations; three operational modes
and one test mode are provided.
The Y1 card is scanned during the Yamaha console boot-up procedure
only. It is therefore important to remember that mode changes should
be made only while the console is off. If it is necessary to alter the Y1
card operational mode after the console has been booted, a console
restart will be required in order for the mode change to be recognized.
