Reseating RAM
If your engine is not booting, it might be necessary to reseat RAM as described below. See “Troubleshooting” on page 10 for common
symptoms.
To access and reseat the E6L RAM:

After removing the core from the E6L chassis, disconnect and remove any and all AVB-192 Network cards and WSG-HD Waves
SoundGrid Option cards, and set them aside in a safe place.

Using a long #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the fasteners that secure the heatsink cover and AVB card bracket:
• Remove the 7x screws securing the heatsink cover plate.
• Loosen both the top and bottom AVB card bracket captive thumbscrews.

With fasteners removed and loosened, remove the heatsink bracket sheet metal assembly and set it aside.
