Factory
setting
At the factory, all parameters are pre-set to a value dependent on the type
of device in question. This factory setting can be restored at any time using
the parameter OTHR/FACT.

Zeroing the operating data
In order to initialise the printer as a new device during the final stage of
production, all continuously stored operating data are set to zero. Thus, the
status of the service report (STA3) also corresponds with the delivery state
as a new device.
Zeroing of the operating data is performed as follows:
Zeroing
1. Reset printer using keys FEED+CUT(NEXT)+ON/OFF.
Display: Version number, then INIT blinks.
2. While INIT is blinking, press the ON/OFF key.
Display: CODE.
3. Press the following keys one after the other:
FEED
CUT(NEXT)
ON/OFF
ON/OFF
FEED
CUT(NEXT)
Display: OFF.
4. Select parameter OTHR/NULL and confirm with ON/OFF key.
Display: YES?
5. Confirm the security question YES? with the ON/OFF key.
The printer is reset, the operating data are zeroed.
