The alignment adjustment is only applicable to Text Overlay items. 

Privacy Mask 

Privacy mask enables you to cover certain areas on the live video to prevent certain spots in the 

surveillance area from being viewed and recorded. Privacy mask areas are used to protect privacy, for 

example, covering the keypad of an ATM machine, or the entry to fitting rooms. 

 

To configure privacy masks: 

1.  Check the checkbox of 

Enable Privacy Mask

. 

2.  Click 

Draw Area

. 

3.  Click and drag the mouse in the live video window to draw the mask area. 

Note:  

Draw up to 4 areas on the same image. 

4.  Click 

Stop Drawing

 to finish drawing. 

5.  Click 

Save

. 

Clear All

 to clear all of the areas.
