Installation

Avaya M770 M-ACCF/SF ATM Access Modules User’s Guide

Single-mode Module Laser Classification

Note:

Class 1 lasers are inherently safe under reasonably foreseeable conditions of

operation.

Caution:

The use of optical instruments with this product will increase eye hazard.

Multi-Mode Module LED Warning

The following warnings apply to the M-ACCF ATM access module equipped with
multi-mode fiber.

Warning:

Class 1 LED Product. Do not view the LED through any magnifying

device while it is powered on. Never look directly at the fiber Tx port and fiber cable
ends when powered on.

Agency Approval

See Appendix A, Specifications on Page 85.

Device Support

The ATM access module allows you to connect your Avaya M770 X-Switch domain
to an ATM network.

Pre-installation Procedure

This section describes the procedures you need to perform before installing the
ATM access module.
