Avaya’s premium modular, chassis-based solution for the Enterprise Campus. Delivering high
levels of performance and the most advanced and scalable software features, the 8800 is the
strategic platform for businesses that are reliant upon dependable access to demanding
applications.
The 7.2 release introduces the Avaya VENA Unified Access capability, delivering the industry’s first
integrated Wired/Wireless solution for seamless performance and scalability, and the Fabric
Connect capability has been extended with integrated IP Multicast Routing support.
Typical Configuration:
Chassis (includes Fans & Rack Mount Kit, etc), at least one Switch Fabric/CPU module (two for redundancy
and/or maximum performance), at least one Power Supply (usually two or more) & Power Cord, Base Software License Kit. Add
Interface Modules & Transceivers as required.
