Virtual Services Platform 4000 Series
The VSP 4000 is the industry’s first Fabric-enabled multi-service/multi-tenant edge device,
delivering Avaya’s Fabric Connect capabilities on a low-cost access platform that can be used to
extend the reach to the Campus, Metro or WAN edge. The VSP 4000 offers full-featured software
– based on the VSP 9000 – on a low-cost small form-factor product for small locations.
The VOSS 3.1 release includes support for IP Routing and Multicast-over-Fabric Connect, and
introduces the VSP 4450GSX-PWR+ model.
Typical Configuration: Switch with dual AC or DC Power Supplies for high-availability power. SFP/SFP+ Transceivers sold separately,
and for AC and DC Power Supplies and Cord options, see Common Parts & Accessories section.
