Calibration of the probe chlorinates Turboxy
Information
: The probe of chlorine TURBOXY is a mechanical and strong probe, it is provided with a turbine
which detects the flow of the water and also cleans the electrode of measure in its axis. The probe
chlorinates TURBOXY require a rather long time to stabilize its measure owed to the stabilization of the
oxidation of the sensor by the chlorine in the water and its cleaning. The stabilization will be reached during
the balance between the oxidation and the cleaning by the turbine.
That is why in the first days it will certainly be necessary to re-calibrate the probe of chlorine.
1) Check that the TAC of the water is good between
150 and 250 ppm
(Total alkalinity), if not to adjust it.
2) Put into service the part pH of the PAN DUO PH TURBOXY, because the calibration of the chlorine must
be realized between pH 7.2 and 7.5.
3) If you have to use of the stabilizing to reduce the destruction of the chlorine in the water by the UV of
the sun, it is necessary to stabilize manually its rate between 30 and 40 ppm (and then use some not
stabilized chlorine).
4) Maintain a rate of free chlorine in the swimming pool between 1 and 2 ppm for at least 3 hours.
5) Then, find a sample of water of the swimming pool in the place of the filtration or taken near a skimmer
in a depth from 30 to 40 cms.
6) To calibrate the chlorine part of the device as follows:
The hydraulic tube is placed in the same way on
the strainer and the pump.
1 : Slide the tube through the nut
2 : Push the tube down to the bottom of the
conical connector
3 : Hand tighten the nut onto the connector
