8.2 Reset
System
Use this function to reset system to factory settings
8.3 Cycler
Name
The cycler name is used for identifying different thermal cyclers when multiple
instruments are controlled via network by a computer.
By default the cycler
name is set to the instrument serial number. You can change it as need.
1. In the Admin Menu screen, touch
Cycler Name
.
2. In the Cycler Name screen, set a unique Thermal Cycler Name. The name can
be up to 15 characters.
3. Select ‘Allow remote control’ to make the instrument can be controlled via
network.
4. When you finish, touch
√(Save)
to return to the Admin Menu screen.
8.4 Configure
Network
Connection
If your want to control the Thermal Cycler via network, you need to configure
network connection. You can view IP address (wired connection) and set Wi-Fi
(wireless connection).
8.4.1 To view IP address:
1. In the Network screen, touch
