, the program will automatically pause as soon as the desired
step temperature is reached and the instrument will beep twice. Touch
Resume
will continue the program running. Pause can be used to add reagents (i.e. hot
start) or when adding or removing tubes during a step.

To remove the dTemp, dTemp, Ramp Rate and Pause,
1.1 In the Step Options window, click on the dTemp, dTemp or Ramp Rate text
box. Delete the old value in the pop-up keyboard or enter “0” and then touch
Ok

1.2 Uncheck the
Pause
check box.
1.6 Exchange between Constant Step and Gradient Step
Gradient Temperature Step is only available with reference ZFD002 Gradient
Type Thermal Cycler.
To change a constant step to a gradient step:
1. In the Edit Program screen, selects a constant temperature step. Touch
Options
to open the Step Options window.
2. Click the
Gradient
check box to enable.
The right part of the window will display calculated temperature gradient from
the first column to the last column (from the 1
st
to 12
th
for the 96 wells sample
block module). Change the
Left
and
Right
temperature as you need.
Note:
You can also add Pause or dTime as you need to a gradient temperature step.
