What will cause the blood sample to be contaminated ？
1. No shaving before obtaining the blood sample.
2. Not disinfected with alcohol before obtaining the blood sample.
3. No hand washing before obtaining the blood sample.
4. No wai�ng for alcohol or hands to dry completely before obtaining the blood sample.
5. Did not remove the first drop of blood or blood samples mixed with other �ssue fluid before
obtaining the blood sample.
If an alarm is set “on”, will the alarm ring when the meter is off? How long does the alarm last?
Yes, the alarm will ring even it is off. The alarm will last for 20 seconds. You can press any key to stop
the alarm.
Is the �me of the meter updated when it is off?
Here are three situa�ons:
a. The meter is off a�er normal use, without removing the ba�eries. If the power is s�ll enough, the
�me will run normally. It is unnecessary to reset a�er the next boot.
