AIR RATE SETTING
Single stage burners
High-low flame burners

The servocontrol rotation must be equal to 90°, whichever the setting of the high or low flame.
During testing in the factory, the position of the air damper in low flame and the settings of the servocontrol are fixed to average
values.
To change the settings of the burner during testing in the plant proceed as follow:
1 Ignite the burner and drive it to high flame.
2 Adjust the gas flow rate slacken the nut RA (Fig. 44a) and moving the lever VRA through the slot as shown in Fig. 44a, to
increase or decrease the air rate, until the desired rate is obtained; lock then the nut RA in this position.
3 Drive the burner to the low flame position. Tho change the gas rate slacken the screws V1 and V2 (Fig. 44b) and set the
opening angle of the buttefly valve rotating the round plate C by means of the screw V3 (turn clockwise to decrease the gas
rate or counterclockwise to increase it). The index S shows the opening angle of the butterfly valve.
4 If it should be necessary to adjust the rating of the burner in low flame, work on the corresponding cam of the servocontrol.
After this operation, check the gas rate and, eventually, repeat step 3.

IMPORTANT: Set the air flow rate referring to the following values: minimum CO2 value for G20, 9.75%; if the
burner is calibrated to its minimum rate, the value must be 9%.
