CODABAR

 

The Coda bar (or Monarch) is a very high reliable bar code which has been designed espe

-

cially for medical applications such as blood bag identification. Its character set contains numerics 

and four symbols. This function permits the capture of two codes with only one scan.  Codes must 

be close to one another and on the same “line”.

Note: to operate this function correctly, the first code must end with the “d” stop character and the 

second code must start with the “d” start character.  These two start/stop characters are cleared 

before transmission

Two adjacent code with Stop character of  first barcode = Start character of  second barcode

All adjacent codes

* Read adjacent codes only
