3. As per save settings
Turntable supports to save settings without power on . Considering lifetime of flash inside, save would
only work as using remote controller and button on front panel at present, and save would not valid when
shut down power directly.
In addition, when turn off turntable using remote controller or button on front panel. Pls not shut down
main power until background light is off. This is mentioned in manual and remind user again here.
4. As per CUE
S18 supports flac/ape/wav associated with CUE file, but a few issues below must be paid attention to:
1) One folder could only be put into one CUE file. After entering into folder, each song could be seen
directly.
2) At present, CUE only supports ASCII format and will open UTF-8 format to user later. If normal
display can not be obtained, pls use notebook of windows to open CUE file and save as ASCII format.
3) Flac file either has no SEEK register or a far distance between start-and-end point.
Compared with APE, WAV, start-and-end time point of CUE file will be farther. If requires a high
performance, pls convert into WAV or APE because APE and WAV do not have such problem. Later
algorithm would be optimized as much as possible.
5. As per SACDISO file
1) S18 supports ISO file with DSD64 format. If S18 can not play it, pls use footbar to open it and check its
property is DSD64 or not.
2) SACD ISO and CUE display alike, they display name of each song directly. One folder is only allowed
to put into one ISO file and file type will be shown on interface of playing.
6. As per layer of folder and length of file name
1) The maximum layer of file folder S18 could support is no more than 7. Otherwise they will be filtered
out. So pls not exceed this figure to play songs.
2) The maximum length of file name is no more than 100 characters. If it is Chinese character, it should
be less than 50. Otherwise, they can not be recognized.
