Subscribe a Repeater to the Base Station

☞

The procedure described here should only be used to login one (or more) repeaters directly to the
base station. If you like to cascade two or three repeaters (a maximum of three is possible), the
login has to be done via PC. You will need the „COMfort DECT Repeater Tools“ (special accessory
of Auerswald) as well as the corresponding PC program (see

chapter Cascade the Repeaters on

).

You need a working base station in radio range together with a logged-in and switched on hand-
set.

Connect the repeater to be logged-in to
the wall-mount power supply (

). Plug

the power supply into a 230 V mains outlet
with protective earth for more than one
second (but less than five seconds). Re-
move it again and plug it in again. Now the
repeater is in the login mode. This is indi-
cated by a slowly flashing LED (

). In this mode the repeater

searches for a transmitter (base station) in
the subscription mode. This status will last
for a maximum of 5 minutes. If the login
procedure has not been finished success-
fully within this period of time, the repeater
would restart in the normal mode with the
previous login data again.
