Examples of configurations
Note:
Solely use the pluggable screw terminals which are included in delivery for connecting speaker systems and the remote cable to the
M 2FX. We also recommend to use a shielded cable for connecting the 3.5 mm stereo pre-amp input of the M 2FX to avoid any background
noises. The values listed here are empirical values that have been approved as useful in practice. Depending on the size of the loudspeaker
we recommend the following highpass filter settings: ca. 50 Hz for 6.5”/16.5 cm LS; ca. 70 Hz for 5.25”/13 cm LS; ca. 100 Hz for 4”/10 cm LS.

The crossover frequency for the high- resp. lowpass will be adjusted in the
M 5DSP by using the DSP PC-Tool software. To deactivate the filters of the
M 2FX set the X-Over switch to HPF and the X-Over Frequency to 15 Hz.
