While  the  unit  is  muted,  you  may  of  course  select  a  different  input 
channel as described above. But the PRE1 G3 will stay muted until you 
press  the  key 

   

  again  to  un-mute  and  restore  the  original  volume 

level.

If  you  turn  up  the  volume  by  using  the  key 

up

  or 

 Vol+ 

,  while  the 

PRE1 G3  is  muted,  the  muting  function  will  be  deactivated  and  the 
new volume level set.
