You can quickly find a number in the phone book with the setting "Find phone number".
1. Press the button. The message "Input Name / Quit ?" will appear in the display.
2. Confirm with OK or cancel the process with the MENUE button.
3. Use the and buttons to page forwards and backwards through the phone book.
You can also enter the required initial letter of the subscriber you are looking for by means of
the buttons "2" to "9" and confirm with
OK . When you enter an initial letter, the display will
show the first entry found with the letter entered. If no phone number is found with this initial
letter, the display will show "No Matched Record!". In this case, press the
C button and start
the search again.
4. When you have found the required subscriber, simply lift the receiver or press the
handsfree button. The telephone number will then be dialled automatically.
5. To cancel the process, press the MENUE button.
4.2 Receiving calls
Incoming calls can be accepted in two different ways.
A. By lifting the receiver or
B. By pressing the handsfree button
and speaking via the built-in microphone.
4.3 Call waiting
The ISDN network provides you with the option of being called by a second subscriber while
you are making a call. During a call, the display and a call signal will draw your attention to the
second call. The "call waiting" function is activated in the factory and can be deactivated as
described in Chapter 5.4. In this case, you can proceed as follows:
A. Finish the current call and accept the new call.
B. If you want to take the new call in addition to your current call, confirm the display
message "Accept ?" with the OK button. You will then be holding two conversations
simultaneously. See also Item 4.8.
C. If you do not wish to take the call, select the message "Reject ?" with the button and
confirm with the OK button.
4.4 Switching over between the receiver and the handsfree
facility
A. If you want to change from the receiver to the handsfree facility during a call, press the
handsfree button and replace the receiver on the rest. The red indicator light in the
handsfree button will come on.
B. If you want to change from handsfree mode to the receiver, simply lift the receiver. The
red indicator light will go out.
