MAESTRO M9
Surround Modes
This screen allows you to select the specific decode and downmix options
that will be available to the listener in Stereo and Multi-channel applica-
tions. The options for each format are “Yes” or “No” and are accessible by
touching the “Mode” button on the front panel of your Maestro M9.
Stereo sources:
The following formats are available when using media
that contains either digital or analog stereo signals (Dolby 2.0, digital PCM
stereo, DTS 2.0 etc.)
Dolby Surround
DTS Neo:6 Cinema
DTS Neo:6 Music
5/7ch Stereo
Multi-channel sources:
The following formats are available for any multi-
channel digital sources such as any Dolby or DTS multi-channel digital
stream.
Stereo Downmix
Dolby Digital EX
Dolby Surround
Zone Settings
This menu allows you select the audio and video control and volume set-
tings for Zone 2.
Zone 2 Input -
Selects the analog audio and video to be used for
Zone 2.
Zone 2 Status -
Selects if Zone 2 is in Standby or On.
Zone 2 Volume -
Displays current volume level in Zone 2.
Zone 2 Maximum Volume -
Selects the maximum volume setting
for Zone 2.
Zone 2 Fixed Volume -
Allows the Zone 2 volume to be fixed at the
current volume level. Then the volume can be controlled with an
external amplifier.
Zone 2 Max On Volume -
Selects the maximum volume level for
Zone 2 when the Maestro M9 is powered on or comes out of stand-by
mode.
