Cleaning the unit:
1.
Turn the power “OFF” and wipe the panel with a dry, lint free, silicon
cloth.
Note: Use of rough cloth or volatile solvents such as paint thinner or
alcohol may damage the surface of the panel and/or cause damage
to the liquid crystal display.

The cassette slot in the faceplate should be cleaned periodically as
accumulated dust can scratch the surface of the cassettes when inserted or
removed from the player. A dry cotton swab is recommended for this
cleaning. (Clean only the outer, exposed surfaces.)
3.
Magnetic powder and dust accumulation on the tape head can cause noise
and deterioration of sound quality. To clean the tape head, use a
commercial cleaning tape designed for this purpose.
