TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM CAUSE

SOLUTION

No sound can be heard.

Bad cassette.

Replace cassette.

Sound quality is poor or
distorted.

Volume too high.

Tape head is dirty

Turn volume “down”.

Clean the head referring to section of this
publication on cleaning the unit.

Cassette cannot be
loaded

Cassette is deformed

Cassette has been inserted incorrectly.

Replace cassette.

Reload the cassette.

Error Messages

Unit malfunctioning
