3.2. Start-up and operation
To start up your hearing aid, the first step is
to put a battery in the battery compartment
(5). To do this, open the battery compart-
ment carefully with a fingernail at the ope-
ning edge and swing it right out.
Remove a battery from its packaging.
Please note:
If using a zinc-air battery, remove protec-
tive foil and wait a few minutes before ins-
erting it in your hearing aid.
Then place the battery in the battery com-
partment. Make sure that the mark (+) on
the battery is in the position corresponding
to the mark (+) in the battery compartment.
Now you can switch on the hearing aid by
pressing the switch (4).
