Depending on your mobile phone and your mo­
bile phone contract, you may be able to send and
receive text messages (SMS) via the MMI.
Important
A mini SIM card with a messaging option must be
inserted in the control console's SIM card reader*

Your mobile phone must have message ac­
cess rights activated in its Bluetooth settings
(MAP - Message Access Profile) and must be con­
nected to the MMI
