Basic Operations
Charging
The battery pack is not fully charged at
the time of purchase. Charge the battery
sufficiently before use.
• While charging, the charging/notification
indicator illuminates in red. When
charging is finished, the charging/
notification indicator goes out.
◎The product may become warm while
charging, depending on the situation, but
this is not abnormal.
◎Charging the product while using the
camera function, the charging time may
take longer than usual.
◎When you operate the product with the
specified charger (sold separately)
connected, the product may repeat short-
time charging/discharging resulting in short
battery life.
◎When temperature of environment or the
product is high or low, charging may be slow
or stopped. Charge the battery at room
temperature as much as possible.
◎If the charging/notification indicator blinks
in red, check if the phone is connected
correctly, etc. If the indicator keeps blinking,
stop charging and then contact an au shop/
au Style or Repair and Delivery Support
Center.
◎Right after " " is displayed while
charging, the charging/notification indicator
may not turn off, but the indicator will turn
off soon and the charging will be complete.
◎After charging the product, close the
external connection terminal securely so
that any water or dusts do not come into
the product. In addition, do not pull it hard or
twist it.
◎When charging with a desktop holder
(KYY31PUA) (sold separately), do not use
the external connection terminal of the
product; otherwise, it may result in
malfunction as well as the product cannot
be charged properly.
◎Keep a metal accessory or conductive
materials (metal pieces, pencil lead, etc.)
from coming in contact with the connection
terminal and prevent them from getting
inside.
