Safety Precautions
Important Items to Remember
before Use
● Make sure the external connection terminal
cover is closed firmly and the back cover is
completely attached. Water resistance is
effective when completely sealed.
● Never open/close the external connection
terminal cover or back cover when the
product or your hands are wet.
● Do not let the product submerged into or get
wet with the liquids (alcohol, seawater, water
from a swimming pool, hot water of hot spring,
water containing soap, detergent, bath powder,
soft drink, alcoholic beverages, seasoning, etc.)
other than tap water. Do not use it in a place
where it gets wet with pet urine either.
If the product gets splashed, immediately
rinse it off with tap water.
● Do not place the product directly on sand at a
beach, etc. Sand or other small particles might
get inside the earpiece/receiver, mouthpiece
(microphone), or speaker, causing the volume
to drop. If sand gets inside the product from
hinges, it might cause overheating or a fault.
● Do not use the product underwater.
● Do not use or leave the product in a humid
place such as a bathroom or kitchen for an
extended period of time.
● Moisture may still remain after draining. While
this will not affect use, you should not leave
the product next to items you do not want to
get wet. The product may wet clothing, inside
of carry bag, etc.
● Drain any water in the earpiece/receiver,
mouthpiece (microphone), or speaker that
may be affecting audibility.
● The product is not designed to resist water
pressure. Avoid exposing to high water pressure
or submersing in water for a long period.
● Do not wash the product in a washing
machine or ultrasonic bath.
● Do not immerse the product into a bathtub. The
product is not designed to be heat resistant.
● The rapid changes of temperature may cause
condensation, resulting in malfunction. Wait
until the product reaches room temperature
before you bring the product from a cold place
into a warm bathroom.
● The product does not float on water.

●Close the external connection terminal cover
firmly and make sure the back cover is
completely attached. Any minute particles
becoming lodged between contact surfaces
(a single hair, etc.), no matter how small, can
cause seepage.
