The details screen of e-mail is displayed.
◎E-mail is received in the background even
while using e-mail or other functions. " " is
displayed in the status bar and a ringtone
sounds.
However, e-mail is not received in the
background if "Auto-receive" is set to OFF.
◎If "Auto-receive" is set to OFF or there is a
receive failure, a ringtone sounds and " " is
displayed. Use "Receive" to receive the
e-mail.
◎Data fees may be incurred even if mail is
not properly received due to reception
conditions or the data being received.
◎The maximum size of mail text that can be
received is 1 MB per e-mail. If a mail text
exceeds that, a message appears at the
end of the received portion indicating that it
is truncated.
◎Received e-mail may not be correctly
displayed depending on the content of the
mail.
Inquiring for and Receiving
New Mail
You can inquire for and receive new mail
if "Auto-receive" is set to OFF or there is
an e-mail receive failure.
