3.5.5. WDS Hybrid Gateway Mode Configuration
The configuration flow of the WDS Hybrid Gateway Mode is shown below.
Step 1
: In “Overview”
page, choose the
“WDS Hybrid
Gateway” mode and
the menu “WDS
Settings” and “WDS
Interface” will appear
on the left menu bar.
Click “Save Settings”.
Step 2
: On “Basic
Settings” page,
uncheck the
“Automatic Channel
Select” and choose
the channel. This
should be similar to
that of a peer WDS.
Step 3
: On the same
page, change the
SSID (Network Name)
if you desire, and click
“Save Settings”.
Step 4
: On “Security
Settings” page, setup
the security functions
as you desire, and
click “Save Settings”.
Step 5
: On “WDS
Settings” page, enter
the WDS peer MAC
address and click
“Save Settings”.
Step 6
: On “Local
Area Network” page,
enter the “IP Address”,
“Subnet Mask” and
“Default Gateway” of
your network and click
“Save Settings”.
Step 7
: On “WDS
Interfaces” page, enter
the “IP”, “Netmask”
and “Gateway” of
WDS1-WDS4 network
interface (optional).
Step 8
: Click “Apply”
to save the settings
and to activate the
current configurations.
